September 29, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

HE CIDER THE MUSIC THE FOOD & FUN THE BENEFIT
The Cider Swig returns to Gig Harbor on National Public Lands Day 2018.

Two dozen regional cidermakers will present a range of 90+ hard ciders to the growing community of cider lovers and the cider-curious alike traveling from near and far to join in a day of sampling the best ciders west of the Mississippi!

The Cider Swig Stage and Apple Carnivale Stage will be ALIVE all day with great entertainment including world-groove from Budapest West; sizzling twin fiddles by Spare Thyme; Celtic Folk Punk fromThe Bog Hoppers; an acoustic performance by local artist Josh Brulotte; some indy country rock from Marc and Joey; and, Charlie “The Noiseguy” Williams (additional info). Talk about great eats! 8 local food trucks and/or pop-ups will be joining in the fun for the day. More will be posted as we get closer to the event.

From apple pie contests to apple launching, and Apple Carnivàle Zone street performers, games and more, a great day is in store for the entire family.

The Cider Swig again combines eco-awareness and our commitment to community. Proceeds raised go to support the Lu Winsor Memorial Environmental grants program, which provides annual grants to area schools, organizations and agencies within the greater KGI watershed for projects focused on water quality, environmental education, watershed enhancement and restoration activities, parks, trails and agricultural lands.
