How It’s Made: The Dealcoholization Process
The Sidekick™ non-alcoholic craft beverages are the result of a careful process that retains the integrity of the original recipes, with one additional step, the dealcoholization process. By removing the alcohol, 2 Towns Ciderhouse aims to make their award-winning flavors accessible to a wider audience, providing an option for individuals looking to savor the craftsmanship without the alcohol.

“Using carefully selected ingredients, we ferment the cider in the same manner we would for any of our other high-end products. After fermentation, the alcohol is gently removed until it reaches less than 0.5% ABV. The newly dealcoholized ciders are finished and blended to craft a beverage that can be enjoyed on any occasion,” shares Head Cidermaker, Dave Takush.

Dave will be a featured speaker and moderator at CiderCon 2024, where he explores the dealcoholization process with industry experts in An Introduction to Low-ABV & Non-Alcoholic Cider Production – American Cider Association
Thursday, January 18, 2024, 10:30-11:45 AM, Oregon Convention Center.

Dry January Designated Driver Program
To further their commitment to the Dry January movement, 2 Towns Ciderhouse and Craftwell Cocktails® are promoting responsible drinking with a designated driver program. The program recognizes designated drivers and encourages a safe, responsible drinking culture.
