The BaddieTM supports women in fermentation by allocating a portion of the proceeds to the Pink Boots Society

Corvallis, Ore. – Feb 22, 2024 – Embarking on a celebration of Women’s History Month, 2 Towns Ciderhouse and Pink Lady® apples proudly present the return of The Baddie™, a female-led hard cider that fuses the vibrancy of Pink Lady® apples with a blend of botanicals. This award-winning elixir pays homage to the strength, resilience, and grit of women.

A portion of the proceeds of The Baddie™ will be donated to the Pink Boots Society, a national non-profit organization that supports women and non-binary individuals in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry to advance their careers through education.

Launch events are planned throughout WA, OR, CA, ID where a portion of draft sales will benefit local Pink Books Society chapters in those communities. Beverage distributors including Classic, Columbia Distributing, Delta, Musetter, and Scout have also added their support by providing additional donations from The Baddie keg sales.

Lucy Bauer, lead cider maker for The Baddie explains, “The Baddie strikes a poised balance between boldness and subtlety. Refreshingly tart Pink Lady® apples are infused with a bouquet of delicate botanicals, resulting in an undeniably elegant cider.”

“Following the success of last year’s collaboration, we’re eager to unite once again for the release of this delightful cider,” shared Kathryn Grandy, Chief Marketing Officer at Proprietary Variety Management. “Contributing to an initiative that supports women in the industry while providing a delightful cider is truly fulfilling. The seamless integration of Pink Lady® apples with The Baddie brand captures both beauty and empowerment.”
