Hello and thank you for volunteering for the 12th Annual 2 Towns Ciderhouse Harvest Party! This year our fest is benefiting Unity Shelter.

Before your shift you will meet with a 2 Towns team member in the volunteer lounge to go over volunteer roles and Harvest Party rules.  When you arrive, please go to the front of the line and let them know you are here as a volunteer, do not wait in line.

We have 6 bars, a Pumpkin Bar and (2) Express Bars.  There is also a separate line for Warm Spiced Cider.

Entrance:

21 and over no exceptions

Checking IDs – responsibility of Security

Drinking? GREEN wristbands $25 entry fee; Not Drinking? RED wristbands $3 entry fee

All sales must be processed through our Square register system.

We accept all credit cards and cash.

Designated drivers do not get a mug.

Always place the wristband on the person securely.  We are using the wristbands to count attendance so please make sure you check in with the Entrance lead before getting more wristbands if we run out.

Free Entry will have their own special table near the entry to go.

People can re-enter if they left for some reason.  They just need to show their wristband.  If they have been removed from security they will have a black ‘X’ on their hand.

Ticket Sales:

Sell tickets to only those wearing a GREEN wristband.

Tickets cost $2.50 each. All ciders are 1 ticket for a 4 oz pour.  Then a full pour is either 2 or 3 tickets.  Limit of 10 tickets per person per transaction. 

All sales must be processed through our Square register system.

We accept all credit cards and cash.  When making change, we encourage using smaller bills for tips for the servers.

Cash boxes may not be unattended at any time.

Ticket sales end at 9:15 with last call at 9:30.

We will not be giving refunds on unused tickets, they can tip the servers with them. 

If you have issues or questions, check in with the ticket lead.

Cider Pourer

No one under 21 is allowed at the event, please make sure you can see the person’s GREEN wristband as those wearing a RED band are designated drivers and can not drink.

When serving, pay close attention to behavior to not over serve someone.  If you have concerns, please contact your lead.

***New this year:  all products are (1) ticket for a half pour.  This is so people can try more and different ciders and seltzers .

Collect the appropriate amount of tickets for the cider you are serving.  The cost will be listed on the sign behind you. 

Tasting notes for the cider will be provided for you at your station.

If a keg runs out or is about to run out, please alert your bar lead and they will help switch out the kegs.

Under no circumstances can servers drink, sip or taste the ciders during their shift.  If someone says something is tasting off, please let your bar lead know and they can taste it for you.

We will not be filling growlers at this event.

Everyone needs tickets for cider including staff, special guests, and members of the band.

Last call is at 9:30pm.

Tips can be given in cash or tickets. The tips will be split with all the servers by shift and can be picked up at the tap room between Monday, October 14th to November 1st.  After that, the checks will be mailed out.

If you are a paid server, your check will be ready to pick up at the Taproom as well during the above times.

Raffle tickets are $1 each and go to benefit  Community Services Consortium Youth Programs.  Winners will be contacted the week after the event.

Event Greeters

Welcome attendees to the event.  Ask if they have purchased tickets in advance, if so they will go into a separate line, please make sure they have pulled up their tickets to make the process easier and faster.

Bathrooms

Ensure there are paper towels/toilet paper and help direct flow of traffic.  If there are issues, check in with the Bathroom lead.

Clean up Crew

Clean up after accidents like broken glass, spilled cider, cleaning tables off and guest assistance.  If there are issues, check in with the lead.

Keg Mover

Assist our team in moving kegs and switching out blown kegs.  You will be directed by the Keg Lead.

Hot Cider Assistant

Assist our team in making Hot Cider. You will be directed by the Hot Cider Lead, Adam Cocker.

Line Wrangler

Assist our team by helping manage lines at the bar, answer questions,  and keep walkways clear.

Bus Greeter

Assist our team by helping people to get on the correct bus or to the place they want and need to go.
