Rugged and fresh, OutCider isn't afraid of taking the trail less traveled. Jonagold apples are pressed, fermented, and left unfiltered, so you can experience their raw character.
Our unfiltered OutCider is made with Northwest-grown Jonagold apples. Known for their big and juicy floral character, this apple was bred in New york in the 1950’s by crossing Jonathan and Golden Delicious.
The majority of our Jonagold apples are grown in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. The region’s cool nights produce a higher acid apple while retaining more floral character than in warmer climates.
Once pressed, the vibrant and delicious Jonagold juice is then blended with a number of high acid apple varieties from Washington for a cider full of big juicy aromatics, tropical notes and full mouthfeel.
